12:54 - December 12, 2002 Also, we have become the oppressive force we fought to escape from back in 1776, except ten million times worse and with much more of a capability of blowing up the entire Earth. I wish someone infinitely wiser would reach their long arm over and pluck the weapons from our backyard, depositing them gently into nowhere. No radioactive byproducts would be released because this person would be wise enough to undo the chemical damage we have done. One day our heads will contain computer chips. The mass sentiment will be that they're for accomplishing things, such as computing or extra storage space (as if that 95% unused portion of our brain isn't enough) but what it will really be for is wiping us out by means of slow mechanification (which will be a word by then). The worst thing that can happen is you'll die. No, the worst thing that can really happen is someone will find a way to forcibly keep you alive, forever and ever.
