field trip
The 'field trip' my drawing class took today was interesting, to say the least. Highlights: Mr. Ware trying to find the Field Museum parking lot and getting lost in McCormick Place. A monkey attempting to make sweet love to Chris through a glass paned window. Mr. Ware telling the waitress at RJ Grunts that all of us were his children, (noting her look, (all of us at the table were either white or middle eastern, and he is black)), added, 'They take after their mother.' The guy at the underwater sea lion exhibit sitting on the floor and cackling as we walked by, cackling as we left, and cackling when we saw him later around the lion cages. Mr. Ware trying to pass off the van we were all in as a school bus (in order to get free parking), saying 'They ran out of yellow paint.'
