certain death
If it's not too much trouble, all I ask of you is either a sporadic update, i.e. 'Hello, I'm still alive' or one letter saying that you won't speak with me anymore. As it is, open-ended, the lack of anything at all equates itself with death. Uncertain death is much, much worse than certain death. I want to know.
