easy to forget
We checked off all the boxes on our "explore foreign country" list today. We:

- ran out of water on a hot, shadeless street
- walked until our feet ached
- took out our phones to check Google maps in extremely shady areas
- chose one place to eat based on how many locals were congregating, and the other based on internet advice
- viewed a disappointing museum
- disagreed about everything we floated as a game plan, but
- had fun anyway.

It's very easy to forget that our car, safely ensconced on the U.S. side, is probably not more than 2 miles away.
